Molly: “Are you dying?” Mr. Magorium: “Light bulbs die, I will depart.”

“When King Lear dies in Act V, do you know what Shakespeare has written? He’s written “He dies.” That’s all, nothing more. No fanfare, no metaphor, no brilliant final words. The culmination of the most influential work of dramatic literature is “He dies.” It takes Shakespeare, a genius, to come up with “He dies.” And yet every time I read those two words, I find myself overwhelmed with dysphoria. And I know it’s only natural to be sad, but not because of the words “He dies.” but because of the life we saw prior to the words.

I’ve lived all five of my acts, Mahoney, and I am not asking you to be happy that I must go. I’m only asking that you turn the page, continue reading… and let the next story begin. And if anyone asks what became of me, you relate my life in all its wonder, and end it with a simple and modest “He died.” ”

Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium 2007

In dedication to Joe Mirabella, my grandfather (”Joe Cool” to others), who passed away quietly on May 8, 2008. He lived life full.

Shout out for James (and Greg)

Just wanted to do a big Shout Out of THANKS to James Cook, who works with me, and who was the one who personalized my site.

The big smiling girl at the top is my daughter Brianna at the age of 4. That smile is definitely a guiding light in my day. He also added pics and changed my banner to orange (my favorite color - reminds me of sunsets on Hilton Head Island). Thanks so much James!

I have been very fortunate this past year to have two new people in my life - James and Greg Thibodeaux, my new business partner. We’ve started a new business called The Method Agency (I’ll talk more about that later), which we’re all pretty excited about. These gentlemen are kind, funny, hard workin’, family-oriented, highly authentic and keep me on my toes! How I have truly been blessed.

Below I re-listed these Tenets but I highly recommend checking out the visual snippet as there is nothing like seeing “inspiration” too - just sets one in the mood. Wishing everyone an AMAZING year!
